Galaxy S7 How do I restore the call icon on the bottom of my phone keypad?

Hi,
On a recent update my phone app lost the call icon located on the bottom of the dialing keypad.

I can enter a new or temporary number but have no option to make the call unless I save the number in my contacts list first and then make the call through the saved contacts list.

This doesn't allow me to make direct calls and forces me to have to save phone numbers that I don't need to retain.

This is not an issue of the phone app not appearing in my dock. The issue is with the keypad not displaying the phone icon that lets you start the call once you have entered the number on the keypad.

Any suggestions on how to restore the call (phone) icon on the bottom of the keypad?

Restart the phone and see if it resets

Try clearing the cache of the phone app and see if that may help.
