    Hi everyone,

I just saw a review of the LG G6 And a question was asked if you get the same screen area with the 18:9 instead of 16:9 ratio and the answer was no, he said with a regular 5.7 inch screen there was 13.9 square inches and the G6 was 13.1 square inches

What are your thoughts on that, is the slightly less area worth the tradeoff of having a more pocketable phone and easier to use with one hand?

Not to mention with the curved screen does that even cut it more?

    What are your thoughts?

I think it mostly depends on how you use your phone. If you exclusively consume videos, then the new format is not particularly interesting. However if you consumer a lot of text - reading news, chats, reading and writing emails, then I think the new aspect ratio makes sense. I think Andrew's writing on the subject was quite good:

It is a good read thanks for the link and I do think it's better for the most part

But a part me is suspicious of samsung advertising a bigger screen when in fact there is less overall real estate

That being said I know the difference is very minimal
