I'm on an s8+ too. I'm a light user. No games, no social media, no YouTube. I work from home and am on wifi majority of the day. AT&T signal sucks here. 1 - 2 bars.

Thanks. I'd be interesting in order to find out once and for all if the signal is really our battery killer here.
When you said bad signal,what do you mean though ? 1 bar or 2-3 bars ?

It drifts in and out depending what part of the building I'm in. Sometimes no service. Sometimes 1-3 bars.

This was a 6 hr day. I put it on mute, but not Do Not Disturb. I also kept it in my pocket instead of my locker like I'm supposed to. A little use before and after work off charger. It's def better keeping it in my pocket on mute than in my locker. I also turned off wifi which I normally don't do.

Here's my OST usage 50% of the battery through today. 3 hours WiFi, the rest 4glte

I charged my phone last night. Used very little today. Is this normal or am I expecting too much?

Im giving up on watching battery life. I have even deleted Gsam off my phone. So far the phone lasts as long as I need it. As long as it doesn't die within an hour with minimal use like my note 5 I'm good. Lol

Still really really good compared to the LG V10 it replaced which has the same size battery. It's a huge difference. Only lost 6% the other night in standby, didn't top it off that morning and still had just over 60% after a 9 hour day at work with moderate usage. I've had charge cycles with over 6 hours screen on time with some standby time in there too. Would never get even 4 hours of screen on time with the V10 and it would even heat up more than the S8 also. Had 2 different V10's and both had the same results. Very impressed with this phone.

This is when I realized that this phone is a beast, I had to use GPS all day on high accuracy, Quad Hd, then when I got home watched YouTube for about 2 hours and yeah..

But still no one has been able to figure out my issue or point me in the right direction.

that's perfect! at less for me. am using S6. my SOT usually is like 2 hrs and its barley last 12hr from full charge LOL
