fast wireless charging

I'm having trouble with fast wireless charging on my S8. I have a Yootech fast charge pad, but my phone says fast charging wirelessly, but that it will take 2.5 hours. Is that normal? I have the pad plugged into the charging brick that came with the phone. Is it because it has the old micro USB cable?

Is that to charge from almost dead? If so than that is not bad. It won't be as fast as a wired connection. No the cable has nothing to do with it.

The USB cables can make a difference. It is the easiest thing to try first.

I also have a yootech and it won't fast charge. Going to get Samsung's wireless fast charger this time.

I'm getting bad use with my choetech fast charger...

My Choetech works great in landscape, but won't fast charge in portrait. It works both ways with my note 7. I'm guessing it has something to do with the height of the phone.

The Samsung rely on the Fast Adaptive wall charger and cord or they may not fast cHarge

Same, choetech fast wireless charger plugged into a Ravpower QC 3.0 brick. Only the smart USB outlet works, the qc 3.0 will NOT fast charge wirelessly. It works if I just plug it in though.
