The Galaxy S8 has a frustrating Bluetooth problem, but a fix is on the way.

I hope this addresses Gear S3 connections as well, I don't usually have a problem with it except for two scenarios... If I walk away from my my S8+ while still connected to the same wifi and after disconnecting my S8+ from my Silverado using Android Auto.

Personally, I have had no BT problems at all interfacing with my aftermarket Pioneer unit.
Odd it seems to be so hit and miss.

Always seems to happen with mass produced devices. Pixel and One Plus had early problems that were hit and miss and later fixed. S7 had a overheating issue that was hit and miss.

Me too as well. My S8's BT connection has been fine for music at the gym, talking on my headphones for a call, etc. I'm sorry to hear that there are people with this issue though. Hopefully Samsung will address those with the issue via s/w update ASAP. Maybe the issue is with the S8+ not the smaller S8?

Anyone searching and have this issue... did you try this?

Quoted from another thread
I was having problems with Bluetooth pairing and connection stability until I turned off nearby device scanning. My guess was the scanning was interrupting existing connections.
