Jellybean for the Galaxy S3 now in the middle east

Hey guys. Woke up this morning after travelling to Jordan from Palestine. I bought my S3 from Jordan and I was checking for a software update to be greated by a 18 MB stability update.

After I was done with it I got a 278 MB update which turned out to be Jellybean.

I am guessing since my phone is part of the middle east region the update is available for all.

My phone's region is Saudi Arabia and I still haven't gotten the update yet, perhaps because I'm in the Philippines?

It could be, I think I was unable to prove a theory that updates don't work in Palestine.

I'm in Jordan and bought my phone from Jordan woke up this morning tried to update but got this message "access to software update is provided to users in the order they request, try again later."

@ceowin;: go to your dialer, press *#1234# and you will get a page called "version" check the CSC code you get, the two letters after I9300 should give you your region.

Ex

My code is i9300OJVDL1, my region is JV. It's the two letters after your phone code and another letter.

Go to sammobbile.com and check over there.

No, it was an OTA update. If OTA doesn't give you anything, try Kies

@runer112 Thanks for the info! I tried looking up yours and I can't figure out which region yours is. My CSC code is I9300OZSBLI2 and I don't know which mine is either.

I am in dubai....but didn't get the update till now...I tried to update using kies but it keeps telling me I get the newst version????
