How to root without being root?
Hi,
I'm trying the to flash my I9300.
Everything goes well until the ClockworkMod recovery.
So I'm need to get rid of /system/ect/install-recovery.sh and /system/recovery-from-boot.p
but all apps to do so... require root privileges (...).
As I didn't like to give up, I tried...- Root Explorer
- Explorer
- ES File Explorer
- Files
- Total Commander
- ROM Manager
Does anyone have some advice on how to tackle this?
At the Sprint guide I noticed the TeamEpic-Root-from-Recovery-v5.zip, that deals with this problem, but I strongly doubt I could use that part on a I9300, right?
