Hello guys,

I have a i9300 and my carrier is said to have great HSPA+ coverage in my city: 42Mbits, even though I know my S3 i9300 is only capable of 21Mbits, opposed to the new S3 i9305 LTE, which can handle it.
In the several speed test I?ve done the max I ever got was 10Mbits down and 3.5up, can you guys please share yours?

EDIT: I am with Vodafone in Braga, Portugal

Cheers

Mine on Three UK, its got terrible lately, used to average say 6 or 7 down.
Hopefully 4g will take the load off the 3g masts :)

I don't pay anything, my company does, but it's 15 euros for 1Gb so it's more expensive than in the UK. We already talked about this some months ago, funky, don't you remember? ;-)
Ah, and we don't have unlimited plans like you guys :-(

Well I am starting to think that the Galaxy S3 has some kind of problem and can?t do more that 10Mbit/s, even though the advirtised max speed of the modem is 21Mbit/s and the networks 42Mbit/s....

You could be right but my network is capeable of 15mb/s i think but i dont get it and im 0.3miles from the antenna. Think it depends how busy the antenna is..
Its like how home broadband is advertised as UP TO Xmb/s but the further you are from the server, the more people youre sharing it with

4.1.2 update is not available in my Carrier yet. Regarding that, what are the main differences that you guys noticed? Any performance gains, for instance?

Cheers
