Why does this get absolute rubbish smartbench score?

Okay well I understand the Mali 400mp isn't the newest architecture or thw newest gpu out there but it's pretty decent enough and it's 4 cores.

On smartbench 2012 the gaming index score is only around 1500 which is so so bad, why is this? Even when I look at some scores from other phones; single core devices that come out over a year ago score higher gaming index scores,
Can somebody explain why?

Also what I'm confused about is the galaxy s2 gets higher score and this has a lower gpu clock speed than the s3, I'm confused.

Did u reboot then clear all ram 1st mate?
I dont have Geekbench to compare but even on quadrant i have good n bad days.
Remember n close all background apps too,..
EDIT, smartbench.. ill check it out

The thing is I've seen videos of the s3 on smartbench and it gets around 1500

Maybe its not optimised for multiple cores?

Yeah maybe it's not optimized for multiple cores and it maybe testing a low frequency core and therefore getting a bad score

Do yoir think its just not optimised for the Mali? Because the tegra 3 seems to get a good score and this has 4 cores

Well quadrant standard I only get 5100 but professional I get 6100 haha

I usualy get a bit higher on the quad core but its dropped since JB.
whats "professional"?

I have no idea, yeah standard has made my scores a lot lower, but a pain version gives you a highest score I honestly don't understand
