Looks like samsung has improved 4.1.2 performance!
Well quadrant tells you it all! On 4.1.1 I was hitting 5200 at the max, bad huh?
Now on 4.1.2 using quadrant standard look what score I hit! And this isnt any overclocking or custom ROM this is standard jelly bean.
Post your benchmarks below!

Re: Looks like samsung has improved 4.1.2 performance!
Haha man I used kies, just updated as normal, also I enabled disable hardware overlays and 2d rendering. There is also 3 animation scales in developer options and I put these both to .5x so its alot quicker. Run quadrant standard without anything in background and the score should rise.
Also when the planets spin I use to get like 20-30fps now I hit full 60!

Re: Looks like samsung has improved 4.1.2 performance!
Uninstall kies and reinstall, also have you got windows 8? I had it and kies was a bloody nightmare, so I opted back to windows 7 and had no problems.
My kies (windows 8) was saying it needed a file of some sort and was crashing all the time and couldnt find my device. As soon as i went to windows 7 it was all fine

Re: Looks like samsung has improved 4.1.2 performance!
Nooooo man I am still on windows vista. Lol! I have tried to uninstall and reinstall. But same problems. It just doesn't connect to my phone. The other day I left it for over an hour and it still was saying trying to connect.

Re: Looks like samsung has improved 4.1.2 performance!
Lol I know this is a stupid question and yoive prob tried it, change the usb port or the usb lead.
I found at one point I had a cheap £1 cable that wouldnt recognize my phone in the laptop, anyway try changing ports or lead and have a go again

Re: Looks like samsung has improved 4.1.2 performance!
Lol not a silly question. Funny enough I am using the USB cable that I got with the phone. I think it has something to so with the flood of updates you get with kies every time you you turn the laptop on.
