Hi i have just got my self an Android I9300 and have activated it with amaysim and the sim card works in other phones but not this one when purchased it is a unlocked phone please needing help

You have the international version of the S3 so there shouldn't be any issues since it's unlocked.Quote:

Who is your provider Jenny, and are you getting an actual SIM error when you turn it on with your sim card in it?
If you are getting a "No Sim Inserted" error Jenny, make sure the SIM is actually CLICKED IN. I know with mine, it was tricky, and almost SEEMS like it's in when it's not, make sure you push it in and wait for it to CLICK.
Perhaps the APN values have not been set up correctly
the main phone line is optus i am not getting any message or code just wont work i have tried other sim cards and nothing have pushed the card in all the way have changed it from slot one to two the phone company say the card is active
It's almost as if the slot is not recognizing the card period. Did you get the phone brand new? If so I would suggest returning it to the place or purchase. Unless someone else has an idea, no matter what you should be getting a message about the SIM, should not just be nothing coming up. Very oddQuote:
