Just got a nice shiny new SanDisk 64GB Ultra Micro SD (SDXC) Card - Class 10 UHS-1 from mymemory.com
I did contact SanDisk Support for advice about their well documented "problem" with the S3, with a view to avoiding "pre-modification" stock.
Sadly, they couldn't vouch for stock held by merchants and since they don't have a shop themselves, they could only offer a list of reputable stockists, one such being "mymemory", other than that, they could only offer the cold comfort of their "lifetime guarantee".
Not really good enough, but what can you do!
So, is there a "correct" way to install this card to the phone in order to avoid disappointment?

OK, that seems to have been fairly painless...so far!
Now, I've downloaded "Kies Air" to my phone and it is now connected to my phone.
I can see both internal and external storage, and it's invited me to create a shortcut on myDesktop,....here the wheels fell off!
I now have an Icon not unlike the "Notepad" one, but without the lined paper
on my desktop named "sd", double clicking it always asks what prog to open it....select ie, and I get a page showing just this script:-

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
-<jnlp codebase="http://192.168.1.71:8080/www" spec="1.0"> -<information> <title>Kies Air Discovery Service</title> <vendor>Samsung</vendor> <description kind="one-line">Discover and connect to Kies Air devices</description> -<shortcut online="false"> <desktop/> </shortcut> <icon href="http://192.168.1.71:8080/www/kies_air_logo_128x128.gif"/> <icon kind="splash" href="http://192.168.1.71:8080/www/kies_air_logo_128x128.gif"/> <offline-allowed/> </information> -<security> <all-permissions/> </security> <update check="background"/> -<resources> <j2se version="1.5+"/> <jar href="ServiceDiscovery.jar" main="true"/> <property value="true" name="jlnp.versionEnabled"/> </resources> <application-desc main-class="com.samsung.swift.servicediscovery.Main"/> </jnlp

Second problem is there is no instructions on how to use it!
I can see no way of accessing my PC Files that I would like to copy to the phone.
Can anyone help?

Oh good, it's here!
Think I've already sussed out what's missing, the "J" word!

Shortcut still doesn't work...just get that inane drivel posted earlier.
WTF?
I've tried to use Kies Air again now that I have Java installed:(
I now get the same screen in both FireFox and IE, neither of which are useable, and IE Freezes and can only be closed with Task Manager.
I'll try and post the screenshot:
show.php

Things are getting worse! Now I can't hook up with my phone using Kies as Chrome, Firefox and IE all say they cannot find the Address:- http://192.168.1.71.8080/
generated by the phone.
Grrr!
