so i rooted succesfully

then went to install a custom rom and thats where it went wronf

followed instructions and it failed

but it told be to format wipe and clear everything

so now phone turns on and just sits on the samsung galaxy screen

its a uk phone on 3 network

can anyone help please

It's pretty unusual for custom ROM instructions to tell you to wipe EVERYTHING - do you know/remember if you wiped the /efs partition?

so now phone turns on and just sits on the samsung galaxy screen

At least it gets that far. Have you tried booting into Download (Odin) mode? If that works, you can either try loading the stock un-rooted firmware using Kies or Odin, or you can try loading your custom ROM using Odin.

cant remeber if i wiped efs

i can get the phone into either download and recovery mode but thats as far as it gets.

everything has been wiped so lets look at it that way lol.

i did find a link on a different site on how my problem can be solved but his links lead to mediafile and they have been shut down so i cant get all the files to do it.

no matter what rom i throw at it through mem card it just wont install any of them

this is my wifes phones and she is really busting my balls hahahaha
