No phone call , no SMS since yesterday on my Galaxy S3 : HELP !

HELP !
Since yesterday, I'm not able to call any phone from my Galaxy S3 : The symbol "phone" with "waves" lasts indefinitely. No error message. I cannot receive any phone call.
Same thing with SMS messages : Failed after one hour of trial.
Is it a breakdown of my Galaxy S3 or is it possible I made a mistake somewhere ?
NB : I am still receiving my emails on this phone

I don't know - what did you do that you might have made a mistake?

By your description you no longer have a cellular signal, which is why you can't make/receive phone calls or send/receive SMS. (You can still send/receive email because that uses a data connection.)

Unknown. It could be that the antenna got disconnected somehow; it may be that some component died.
Have you rebooted the phone?
Tried a complete shutdown and battery pull?
If your phone is a GSM version and uses a SIM card perhaps that is jacked up.
