Over the past weekend I ran into the issue many folks with the I/O Tab 10.1 are seeing, where it bootloops and won't fully boot into fastboot so you can connect and fix it. This morning I grabbed the bricked unit, and sat down to see what Samsung can do to help, because we have a one-year warranty with these things.
The folks I talked to were all very helpful, but you'll have to make sure they understand that you do not have a retail version of the Tab -- the first young lady i spoke with had no idea what i was talking about, but eventually she got some assistance and it's all straightened out, and an RMA label is coming my way to return the Tab for repairs.
