Transfer speeds, why so slow?

I really am kind of surprised on how slow the transfer speeds are from computer to the tablet. The iPad2/iPad seems to upload so much quicker.

I am talking 5 minutes just for a 1.2GB film, why is the transfer speeds so slow with this thing?

Did you select convert and move?

Ipads will be faster because apple uses a cookie cutter file format for all their devices. this makes transfers to apple products faster but limits where you can get data and in what formats they can be in to work on their devices.

multiple format Compatibility and built in conversion makes the GT more versatile but might effect transfer speeds.

about 18 Mb/s is not that bad anyway.
