I've got a wifi only SGT 10.1 and the ICS update hasn't been released. My brother had it pushed on the Acer Aconia A100 a couple weeks ago. It's pretty awesome.
I don't know why it's taking so long. It's a wifi tab and it's not even tied to a mobile carrier...

Re: Any received ICS in Canada already?
Nope. I have been checking daily for available updates since the news last week (or 2 weeks ago I forgot) that says they are starting to make ICS updates available. But still no luck.
I have the 10.1 wifi. - 05-07-2012, 07:54 PM #4

I just tried to update my mothers Tab 10.1 as well. It says its up to date. Its annoying me since I'd like to see her have ICS. But she's not so picky with the technical side so at least she is still happy with it.
Meanwhile, my ASUS tablet is on Jelly Bean...
FYI, I'm in Winnipeg.

Re: Any received ICS in Canada already?
I've read posts on XDA that ICS for Canada started rolling out a couple of days ago,
so hang in there.
But if you really don't want to wait, by all means flash the US or the UK version (the first time I did it I used UK and it worked fine on my US wifi only version).
Since the update started a few weeks ago, I've flashed the UK version, back to HC 3.2, and
back to ICS several times. I've flashed with Odin, updated with Kies, and updated
via OTA. All three methods worked fine.
I've also flashed CWM, and rooted.
The reason I'm posting this is because I was a total noob at it when I did it the first time.
It really is very easy. Just follow the instructions carefully, and you'll be good to go.
There are numerous guides to do these things. If you're interested in rooting, just make sure
you have the correct CWM and root (SuperUser) files for your device.
I've rooted my tab several times now, and it's working great.
If anyone wants to root their tab, I have the correct files, and I'll be glad to put them in my Drop Box.
Sorry for the long post; just want share my experiences with this terrific device which is now even better than t was, and I thought it was great with HC 3.2! - 08-28-2012, 12:09 PM #9

Re: Any received ICS in Canada already?
I haven't tried the Canadian version, so can't say.
The only thing I can remember about the UK version that was different
from the US version is that UK included Polaris Office, US has Quick Office.
There may be more, but I didn't use UK long enough to really get into the differences
if any. I flashed UK just to get a quick look-see for a day or two, then flashed back to HC and waited for US. - 09-03-2012, 12:53 PM #11
Re: Any received ICS in Canada already?
This is rediculous. Im visiting my mother and just tried to update her WiFi 10.1. It STILL says there is no update.
I dont want to Flash her tablet. But I do want to see her on ICS. I cant even install Chrome on this current version.
