Re: What's The Best Browser
I think the stock Honeycomb browser is where it's at.

I use stock and Dolphin.
I use GBookmark for bookmarks. I use Chrome extension Booglemarks for my PC. I'm able to sync my bookmarks both ways.
Use Opera Mini if you need to do some typing on the web without the keyboard lag.

Re: What's The Best Browser
I use the stock browser, works well. I've tried Firefox but it doesn't seem to be scaled correctly for tablets. And Dolphin feels strictly like a mobile browser and nothing else.

Re: What's The Best Browser
I've been playing with Maxthon; seems good so far, but I still can't decide between it and Dolphin. The thing that makes Dolphin so compelling to me is LastPass integration.

I've tried stock, miren (my favorite on the fascinate), firefox, skyfire and dolphin. I keep finding myself returning to the stock browser even if I can't organize my bookmarks.

Thanks for the tip. I've never heard of the Maxthon browser. Going to download it and give it a go.

Re: What's The Best Browser
I'm looking for a browser that does a really good job acting as desktop agent. My schedule site my company uses won't even let me in using Dolphin any more with the user agent set to desktop. I've tried Fire Fox, Maxpro, and something else...it blocks it every time. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: What's The Best Browser
I use the stock browser. It just has a better feel to me. As for the previous poster. Did you try the stock browser with desktop on?

Re: What's The Best Browser
I tried the stock browser with teh user agent to desktop. It's Quickbooks Online that gives me trouble. Other stuff is great! I try to log into my QB online and it says I'm using an "outdated version of Chrome" and won't continue. Then Dolphin HD returns the message "we don't support your browser".
I'll try Opera and see what happens - 06-30-2011, 08:29 PM #19
