I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and would like to know if it is the most recent model,version,build, etc.

The Nexus 10 is the most recent tablet. The Note 10.1 is the latest full Samsung tablet. The Tab 2 10.1 is decent. I had 1 until the Nexus 10 came out. My wife has it now and loves it.

The exact model and build I have is GTP5113TSR model number and UEBLH3 for the build code. Is this the latest in there production run as I want to make sure I am getting the latest components and updates to make sure it is the best of this model and able to take the upcoming version update to Android Jelly Bean. Thanks for your help

I believe UEBLH3 is the most recent update. Have you tried the software update button on the same page you found that info? If you have and get a responxe of no update available, then that's it until JellyBean would be my guess.

If you mean most recent by Samsung Galaxy tab 2 10.1" yes, there is no newer model tab 2 10.1". This has ICS 4.0.4 awaiting JB, date yet to be made official in the USA
It is not the most recent tablet in general from Samsung, the Note 10.1" running JB 4.1 seems to be a step up in specs/features from the tab 21 10.1"
The Nexus 10 running JB 4.2, made by Samsung for Google is the most recent/best hardware Samsung has produced out there.

Samsung focuses on upgrading the newest model first and moves backwards from that. So until the the Note 10.1 and all the phones that came out in the last 7 months are on Jellybean, there is no time frame for Tab 2 10.1. Samsung is one of the biggest reasons why you should never buy a device hoping for a software update. If you aren't happy with what it is out the box, don't keep it.

I bought a Tab 2 10.1 on the 30th. I just noticed it has Jelly Bean on it. 4.1.1. It apparently had it when I bought it as I haven't seen any updates.

It has been released in the uk as of the 5th of december however the update is diffrent for everyone I recieve the update late last night my mate got it 2 weeks ago so its just a waiting game
