I'm not in the uk though. I'm in the states. I didn't know it had rolled out anywhere here yet.

And sorry I just noticed I had the title wrong for the number. I just fixed it.
Newly shiped devices depending on when they were brought to stock will have jelly bean however the actually OTA update has yet to be released in all country's.

Just got the 4.1.1 update this morning! So far it seems a little smoother and quicker opening apps. I'm in the US btw.

Just installed update. Don't know what it will do, but it appears faster!
But no Swype keyboard. Google Now needs setup when you open Google Search.
Still waiting :confused:was it an OTA or KIES?

Swype is still there just have to select it in the settings. I'm using it now. It's called continuous input. Then you can type or Swype.
Sadly the Samsung continuous input is not the real Swype that came with the JB update for my SIII.
4.2 includes the Android "Swype" (not really Swype but Swype-like).. That's why it's not in this update.
In reply to this you should receive an OTA but its always worth checking KIES for the updateQuote:

Getting up nerve to install the 'real' Swype beta on my tablet, Have any you tried it?
The real Swype works great on tablets. Even has a split keyboard option.
Edit: getting the 4.1.1 update via Kies.. first time ever using Kies.. Hmm.

Just downloaded and installed JB 4.1.1. through Kies.
Fyi, I don't know if this was true with ICS or not, but in 4.1.1 for the Tab 2, you can disable three 4th soft button at the bottom.. used to always bump the screenshot button when hitting the spacebar.. Now that button is gone!
I'm not in front of my tablet more but I believe the setting is here:
Settings -> Display -> Quick Launch Buttons

Yes, I installed the 'real Skype' on my tablet now and am pleased with it also.
How did you get it?
Yesterday when I turned on my Galaxy Tab 2 (U.S.) I noticed that my Tab was downloading the software for Jellybean, but when it asked if I wanted to install, I keep telling it 3 hours. I'm uncertain and afraid to upgrade because everything is perfect in ICS and from what I've read, some of my favorite features aren't available. First, they got rid of the email widget I heard and I used that all the time as I have 3 email accounts and have them all sent to that email and I can check them easier. They also got rid of the screenshot button, although I found out that even in ICS all you have to do is hold down the power button at the same time as the down volume button to take a picture. Not as much a big deal, but why did Android go backwards? My main concern over all the above mentioned is compatibility with apps. I don't know which apps may not be compatible or which apps may act funny or not right as a result of the upgrade. I love using Rocket Player and Isyncr for music and hopefully that won't change. Another issue is they removed 2 homescreens and now you can only have 5 to choose from instead of 7. Again, why go backwards. Plus, they took the time and battery meter and put them up top, normally no big deal, but now they are only half the size and it's harder to see. I don't mind the notifications having to be pulled down like a curtain from the top since my phone, which has ICS has always been like that. It's weird how the same OS can be different on two different devices. Anyway, I'm looking for any suggestions on whether I should upgrade, or is there a way to get rid of that reminder every 3 hours to upgrade and also is anyone having problems with their apps working properly after upgrade? I'm really scared to mess with a great thing.
