T-Mobile Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 warranty and need it returned to stock

Tried rooting it and failed 7 times, counter shows 7, and when I try to update it it says that no updates are found to customization. Just seeing if anyone can help me out returning the counter to "0" as well as the ROM so that it will be able to accept updates, thank you in advanced!!
