Factory Restore Without Loading Apps During Install.
Just bought Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and loving the 7 inch tablet factor and ICS on it. Quick question though.
I want to do a factory rest without loading any of my apps from my app acount. Each time I have done a rest it auto installs my apps. I want the tablet to earn the apps I am going to put on it. I have been looking in settings and know I am missing it some where but not sure where. Help if you can.
Thanks,
Richard
ps: I am using my tab more then I am my laptop now. - 05-17-2012, 12:45 PM #2
There's no setting to turnoff automatic install, as far as I can tell. But, you can go to the Google Play app right after rebooting following a restore and cancel the installs. I can usually get there fast enough that only one app gets installed.

I think you have to use a fresh new Google account. Otherwise Google automatically restores the installed applications associated with your account by default.
