Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition already in store! (YMMV)

I was at my local Best Buy this morning a noticed they had the recently reported Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition in their steel cage. I asked them for a price and it rung up at the reported $249 price and they let me purchase it with no issue.

Darn it!!! I just bought mine there last month. To late to exchange it for this one. Now they have it with the keyboard dock and the usb connector included for the same price as the tablet alone. That is a killer deal. The usb connector costs 19.99 by itself and the keyboard dock for the original galaxy tab used to cost 79.99. The white color is not to hard on the eyes either. If i knew this was coming out, i would have waited. Oh well.

Does anyone know if you can get the keyboard dock on its own? Have a friend who was given a tab 2 7.0 but wants a keyboard. But all the ones I found are for the original tab.

I ordered a Student Edition from Amazon at 3AM today. I got free Prime shipping, but I had to pay sales tax!?! If I had waited I could have gone to Best Buy and I would have it now at the same price.

I am going to try to put Jelly Bean on my Kindle Fire when I get a round "tuit".

Just picked mine up today. It's replacing the SGP 5.0. Got nothing but love for that player but this was too good a bargain. I traded the player in at Best Buy for $90. and returned a BT KB that was $80. which left me owing only $76 for the tab. With the $$$$ I saved I purchased 2 32GB class 10 microSD cards @ $30. each.

Overall, I'm a happy camper!!

I had gotten a T2 a few weeks ago and had to go back today and return it and pick up the bundle......with me going back to school this is just what I needed. I wish I'd known it was coming out a month ago before I got the other one!

I think many of us have been in this boat--buy something then something new comes out bundled with accesories or the price gets marked down some time way after purchase.
You were fortunate in the fact you were able to return what you previously bought. Some people aren't that lucky.
