Thanks in advance for any help. How do I play mpeg-2 movies from the external sd card. i am able to transfer them to the internal sd card but that is not very practical. i am using vlc which is ok but not great as it doesn't support blu ray format but I will cross that bridge later

Some programs have to be "refreshed" to find your new music. Some player programs look for new stuff every time they are started and some do not! Same with video players and photo display programs. Hope this solves your problem!
