Whenever I get a call on my tab 2 P3100, the data connectivity goes off till the time the call is active...
Is there a way I can make both voice and data work simultaneously....

I don't know the P3100,or what carrier(s) support it, but I believe that it is dependent on the network you are connected to more than the device. I believe it is one of the selling points of one of the providers (is it AT&T???) If you are not on a network that supports it, you can't get it. In a quick search, I noticed articles about how the iPhone 5 won't do data and voice together on Verizon or Sprint...

Try it andfind out for sure. My tab is wifi only but my Android phone will let me carry on a phone conversation and check the weather at the same time. Call someone and then do other data required apps at the same time you are carrying on a conversation. This is a feature of Android!

Its not an android feature its a feature of all GSM cellular carriers. It is network dependent and not OS dependent.
