Video stream to t.v.

I want to watch movies that are on my tablet on my t.v. There is a couple hdmi inputs I just don't know what kind of pin configuration the tablet is....

The Tab 2 does not have video output. Adapters will not work with this tablet. The hardware is not built into the device or Samsung has never turned it on!

I use the HDMI adaptor just fine.

Which version of the Tab do you have? Is it a 7" Tab 2? I have an adapter I purchased for mt older Tab and it does not work with my Tab 2.

The adapter does not work with the Tab 2 7" Not sure about the 10" version

There are numerous DLNA apps available for wireless streaming. Miracast (which I dont think the Tab 2 supports) or Allshare (which all Samsung devices support) are other options. Depends on your TV or home theater. I use DLNA myself (but still searching for the best app, Media Remote is my favorite so far) and stream from my PC using my phone or Tab as the remote.
