    Default Can I block JB update?

    Unrooted...no update pushed to me yet.
    Is there a way that I can block the JB udpate?
    Galaxy S4
    XOOM
    Tab 2
    rootless

    Try this from another post:

    HAH!!

    What about this:

    Settings / Application Manager / All / Software Update

    After clearing the data on the second entry, it disappeared, leaving only one left, which pretty obviously was the Software Update app.

    So.... Heck, just go into it and hit the "disable" button.

    Job done.

    Leave me alone!! Jellybean, BEGONE!!

    Don't see that 'software update' part??
    Just a list of apps.
    Is that something that's on a rooted device?

    Scroll down on all apps tab until you find software update app. Force close and disable

    Snap seed to SNS to solitaire.
    No software update app showing.
    Hidden??
    Android 4.0.4

    Check Device management app. I have 4.1.1 already and sofware update is in there.
