    Default Transferring pictures

    Ive tried to transfer pictures from my phone sd card via my laptop usb ports. Everytime I try to copy and paste it gives me a message prompting me to get a converting program?! It transfers the picture but just shows the defualt pic icon and the number. I have to open each one to see which one is which once transfer is complete. I also tried putting the pics in a seperate folder on my laptop and tried transferring that way, but same problem.
