Samsung Galaxy tab 2 doing weird things

when I turn my Tab on all I see is half a screen and it is flashing from one side to the other fast like the screen is out of sync can anyone help me it wont slow down enough to make any contact with any of the buttons that I think might be there Thanks for your help Tom

Try holding down the ON button and see if you get a different screen and do a RESTART. If no luck there, try holding the Start Button and the Vol Up and or Down button. This may take 15 to 30 seconds! If that fails leave it ON until the battery runs down!
