I've not much idea when it comes to technology, however, I've purchased a 2nd hand tab 2, when I click on the apps, then email, it looks like an active email address appears in the address bar, for example, ****@Gmail, how do I delete the email address, I've tried a restore to factory settings but the address still appears.it?

Also, I don't understand what the email app is for, is it for Hotmail / yahoo, etc, etc,

Try going in recovery and factory reset. The Samsung e-mail app is bloat, however log into it with your gmail and you can use the email mini app...

I understand that you are not tech eccentric, but you need gmail to use Google play. Also, bloat email app can be used with any email..
