Default Would the GT3 10.1 make a good 'treadmill' tablet?

I got a treadmill recently and a tablet mount, so I'm looking for a tablet to watch movies/Netflix/Youtube videos on. I'm currently using a 1st gen iPad, but want something that is widescreen, plus something that can hopefully handle 720p videos. I'm not really picky about screen quality, as even the iPad looks ok to me

As luck would have it, Target is offering a $200 trade-in for the 1st gen iPad. I'm hoping to walk out with a $200 gift card, but if I have to buy another tablet, I might try to score one of these, as it looks like the best 10" Android tablet they have. For those who own this tablet, do you think it would work for my purposes? I have a Nexus 7 already for general tablet use, so this would essentially be a dedicated video player.
