Boy, it sure didn't take me long to hose my new tablet...
I rooted it without trouble, put on TWRP and flashed Arshull's kernel as posted on xda. Shortly, but not immediately, thereafter, it started sucking the battery down in less than a day. On restart, it was either booting to a blank screen or getting stuck in a boot loop.
I wiped all data and caches and flashed a factory ROM, restoring me to the 3e recovery, but still boot to either a blank screen or get stuck in a boot loop. I've wiped the system data from 3e again, but attempting to wipe cache automatically reboots the device. I've pulled the SD card and re-flashed, so far nothing's worked.
I've still got access to download mode: It reports my firmware as "Samsung official", but whatever the line below it is still reads "custom", which I assume precludes me from taking the Tab back to Best Buy.
I'm kind of bummed out; I've put in way more work my S3 without putting the truth to my signature. Any thoughts on what I might try next?
