Movies won't default to external SD card

I've defaulted the download several times to the external SD, but no matter what I do, when I start the download, it seems to default to the internal SD. If I go in and redirect it to the External SD card, it does download it there, but there still seems to be some memory taken up in the internal SD card concerning the file. Also, what is the LOST.DIR? It keeps coming back even if you delete it.

LOST.DIR is a file system cleanup folder. If a self check finds a file that no longer belongs to a folder it will recover it to that location. It's a Linux thing.
