Connecting Galaxy tab 3 10.1 to Computer (Win. Vista)

I don't seem to be able to hard wire connect my tab to my mom's computer which runs Windows Vista. I had no problem connecting to my computer at home before I left (Win.7) and was able to download music and photos, but now I seem to be stuck. When I log into my Samsung account and put in what my device is...the page address comes up, but the info never appears on the page. I have tried this several times. I also downloaded Kies, Kies lite and Kies 3, but still not having luck. HELP!

Basic question have you tried all of the USB ports, and does her system otherwise work fine with USB. Secondary question when you say logging on do you mean you also tried to access it over the network instead?
