Default Maximum size when taking video

Whenever I'm taking a video and I try to zoom, it says "Unable to zoom when picture size set to maximum". Why is this and how to change it?? I looked at almost everything I dont know why its doing this, maybe its the resolution?

What tablet are you using? I have a tab 3.8.0 and have no problem zooming whether video is set to maximum or minimum resolution. In theory it is easier to implement digital zoom when in maximum resolution mode. I can't think why your device does not zoom.

Ifigured it out but thanks anyway. Have the tab 3 7.0. Its because the resolution was on 1280x720. The next one is 640x480 which allows me to zoom so its all good. I should of just played around more In the settings.
