Why the headphone won't work in Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Tablet

Plug in the headphone into the jack and voice still comes thru the speakers not the headphone.

It could be a faulty headphone jack. Have you tried the headphones with other devices?

You can try headphone on other devices such as your phone, Radio and TV, if it does not work, that you have buy a new headphones

Replace the headphone jack is easy for Galaxy Tab 3 depending of what tablet you have, the 7 and 8 inches tablets only need to remove 2 screws to change it after taking off the rear cover



The 10.1 inches Tab , the jack goes with the left speaker in a whole assembly and you have to remove the mainboard to take it out. Don't try it if you're not confident to disassemble the whole tablet: battery sits on top of mainboard, and mainboard sits on top of the left speaker, there is no short cut to access it.
