How can I stop a popup?

[AC Question]

Why does the popup that says

I have a Galaxy III tablet and no matter what I'm doing there is a box that
pops up and says "Sorry Google Store is closed. " and I have to clear it
before continuing. What is causing this to happen?

I've never heard of that although for all I know it may be a legitimate message.
Try a Cache Partition wipe. If that doesn't help, get back to us .

Welcome to Android Central!

You could also go to settings, application manager, all apps, go to Google Play and clear the data to reset the app. See if that fixes the issue.
