    Thumbs up Browser Brightness Fix

    Hi everyone,

The brightness issue is actually not an issue at all . I wanted to write this for anyone new to Samsung devices. If you hit the settings button on the bottom right of the device WHILE IN THE BROWSER you can adjust the brightness within the app. Samsung has done this for awhile - they keep browser and device brightness separate. It is in the task bar settings, just slide it brighter or put it to auto brightness.

I know a lot of people already knew this but I have seen it called an issue more tan once while browsing the forums.

I wouldn't call that a fix. Auto is too dark for me, and I don't want to go to the slider every time I use the web.

If Samsung has done this for a while, why haven't they learned something and changed it. So annoying! Just one more reason I have always used a 3rd party browser like Dolphin HD.

True, not really a fix but wanted to let those that didn't know how to adjust the brightness know. Agreed, auto is not near bright enough.

The easiest answer is to download a different browser. I use Opera Mobile, NOT Mini. Remedies the stupid screen dimming issue completely.
