mac and tab plus 7. any tips?

I have a mac and want to see if any of you also do and what you're doing as the workaround. did you load that kiels thing or some of the other ways i've seen on the web? any tips would be great, especially throwing video onto my sd card (as i've been just pulling out the sd card everytime and sticking it in a reader).

What SPECIFICALLY you're trying to do? Firmware upgrade, copy files, etc...

Have you enabled USB debugging? I haven't tried it on my tab but it works on my galaxy s2. I will try later to see if it works.

I just tried the USB debugging and it does not work. Also kies air freezes my Mac every time I try to use it.

Striders! MONEY! That wifi file explorer app is the business. took a minute and moved my entire photo collection from my macbook to both my phone (g2) and my tab plus 7. then i have since moved ebooks, pdfs, mp3 files, and more pictures and word docs (backup). best 99 cents i've spent on apps. Works on both mac and pc (i used firefox on both and chrome worked too). Great tip. none of that complicated crap. quick. easy. seamless. Happy to say i never need to take my tab plus out of its case to remove its microsd card again. Sweet.

1 - download samsung Kies for mac from this link

2- check for update and update if there is ana update

3- connect your tab with your usb cable and wait to connect

4- select your device from kies (GT-6200)

5- select what memory you want to use (if you have a memory card)

6- from file \ add file to (your GT-6200 name)

7- choose one or more files from a same location ... and it will copy these files to memory card or phone memory as you select from no.5

8- if the file is a vedio you will find it in the camera folder and if it is music it will be in the music and so on ....

i think you can also sync music and contacts, backup restore ......... but i didn't use that yet....its easy to do everything without sync

I had the same problem. What worked for me was to install Kies Air.

Although I recommend you use the Wifi File Explorer app (its what I use), Google has made a Mac program that works for me with my Tab 7 Plus and my other android devices.

so far the filetransfer is the simple and the fast for mac solution.
