    Default what is Odin?

And what's the difference between roms and firmware and are there any reliable roms for our tablet that's more customizable? One more question I have that I've been having a hard time figuring out is and sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm probably thinking too hard about something that's simple but is there an internal memory/sd card? I'm finding it very confusing that all of the files that should be on my sd card are not on my sd card and seem to be in the internal memory and I am wondering if I moved some of those files to my sd card would the tablet and apps still read it the same way? Guess I could just see for myself, just wondering

Odin is Samsung recovery. If u brick ur device, u can almost always use Odin to fix it. Think of Odin as a secondary recovery or last ditch effort.

    Another explanation of Odin...

Odin was software that was first leaked back a couple years ago from Samsung. Samsung uses or used it to "flash" or "install" firmware/os/kernels/radio's onto the devices. Samsung still uses it or a form of it in certain releases as a Window's Upgrade Tool as its been known. Its still basically old Odin underneath a custom Window's UI skin.

Odin is your friend, respect it. If used improperly it can brick a device since it has the ability to flash very vulnerable sections of your device.

    Great explination!

I recently purchased an S III and used Odin to root and flash CWM. I didn't know who or where it came from.

    Thanks!

Just "Google" "odin android" to find where to get it. Also, you might consider checking "Youtube" to get more info.

RE: Storage; seemingly, in an effort to confuse everyone, many, if not most, tablet and phone manufacturers now refer to the internal accessable storage partition as the SD storage; and the MicroSD storage card as the "external storage". That is what you should look for in your File Manager.

Research well before using "Odin" and you will find it a great tool.

    Good Luck
