I have re-imaged my rooted 7.7 several times and in general it has always been an improvement over the stock image. I'm currently using the Nexness Pro Jelly Bean image that is based on CM10.
The excellent ROM Toolbox Pro includes a tweak to customise the tablet's LCD density: in other words control the screen resolution. Lower res makes the tablet look more like a phone screen, higher res makes for a more tablet-like experience.
However my current setting results in Play Store telling me my device is not compatible with certain apps. For example this morning Facebook advised me of s new version, but Play won't let me install it.
Anyone else played with this? What is the best density setting to use?
