    I just found it on sprints Web site. Scratch that. The update was a month ago. I guess I check that often. :-P

    You should keep the firmware and software to current. Go to Setting, roll down to the bottom, About Device, check the build number last 3 letters.
    Tab 3 210R, current should be OB1
    Tab 3 2105, current is OE1
    These are current firmware of 2 typical models Tab 3 7 inches, the first letter start from left is YEAR, the second letter is MONTH, the last number is version when the build released.
    O= based on alphabetical order is 15
    E is 5 or May. So OE1, that means the build released on May 2015, version 1. OB1, the build released on Feb 2015, version 1.
    All new builds will fix the charging issue which the tablet 7 inches don't take charge if the battery drained completely or nearly empty.

    If your build ends with like MK1 or NE1 or NB4, your tablet's firmware is out of date and need the update.
    M=2013
    N=2014
    O=2015
    Make sure you have at least 25% battery, otherwise you'll screw up if it shuts down in the middle of upgrading firmware.
    The older build like MK1, need update two times, the first one around 150MB to bring it to NE1, then another 50 MB to bring up to the latest OB1 or OE1, depending what model you have. The update time may takes from 30 minutes to nearly 2 hours, depending version of firmware you have. To be safe, you should connect your tablet to a charger during the process of update. but your tablet won't allow you to update if battery is low.
    From N to O, it may take around 30 minutes, but from M to O, it may take 2 hours to update via Wifi.
