My Tab A has a liquid type bubble on the screen. Is this normal?

My tab A has a liquid type bubble on the screen.

Before turning on my new tab A (SM-T550) it has a liquid type bubble on the screen about ten mm's long. Is this normal or will it disappear with use.

No it's not normal. You should return the device

Are you sure it is not an air bubble below a screen protector? Having opened these tablets up for repairs I do not see where a bubble could form in the glass. Maybe in the LCD unit below the glass? If that were the case then return or replace it. Android tablets are easier to fix than iPads...
