PS4 controller connection problem

I have the Samsung Galaxy tab A 10.1 (2016) with s pen and I've tried connecting my ps4 controller to it. I've done the pairing method through Bluetooth and it connects but it doesn't work, I've also tried using a otg cable to no success. Is their anything else I can try.
