I have had my 8.9 since Christmas and the past month or two it has been running super slow and lagging quite a bit lately. I've gone through and removed a lot of apps to try and pinpoint the issue and have had no luck. I have worked wireless retail sales for 12 years and worked in a store for Sprint that offered service and repair so, I'm not a novice at this.

I'm debating a wipe and restore. Has anyone had issues like this and had a restore enhance performance?

FWIW, that approach worked wonders for my DX. I'd definitely give it a try.

Thank for the input. Sorry it has taken so long to reply, I have just been busy. I didn't realize it but the big sticker that has the S/N number on it was still on the back. I took it off today and will see how it works. Maybe it was causing a a heat issue???
