ICS 4.04 - What cool changes are you noticing?

I got my update this morning over wifi, and all has gone smooth so far. I did not do a data reset/factory reset, but may in the future if I start to notice many problems.

Here's some of the good things I've noticed so far:

- You can now create folders on the home pages by long pressing. No folder app needed.

- Scrolling in Dophin and Gmail seems way better!!

- You can now change the "screen capture" button on the bottom left to applications, camera, search, or none. Go to Settings > Display > Quick Launch.

Anything anyone else has noticed?

Install completely wiped my setup and had to re-install Swype. Loving Chrome on this device. If you don't tap exactly at the right place it opens a magnified area to make a more precise selection. This doesn't happen with the razr. Hum Swype is kinda weird now. Have to figure that out.

But you can also keep screen capture if that's your preference, I hope?

Yes, screen capture is the default.

OK. Update done. So far--it over-wrote my home screen app layout, so I have to re-do that entirely. Sheesh.

Looks like the Hulu Plus app is working now, instead of just telling me my tablet isn't supported yet. Nice!!

It would be nice if hulu worked. I would reconsider canceling my subscription

You can also edit the "mini apps" in the popup bar, via an edit button in the bottom right corner. The selection is still limited, but it's nice to be able to remove the ones I don't use.

What's up with that? The "limited commercials" show up, but then nothing happens. I've contacted Hulu but no response yet.

My GTab now reconnects to my wifi network within seconds when I wake it. Before ICS I had to manually toggle wifi every time.

Mine still has to be manually toggled often, but the really great thing for me is that finally my USB cable is working to connect my PC. I no longer have to use FTP to copy files between the PC and the tablet.

Long press on a text input box and change your input method back to Swype.

Try the Telus release. I loaded it 2 nights ago on my I957 8.9 4g att tab. Fricken AWESOME is all I can say...and everything works such as the apn for 4g, front and back camera, apex, chrome...yes sir...nice little tablet now.
