Before people reel back in horror and want to hate on me see my reasons, remember these are my opinions and they can widely differ to yours.

Both have the same resolution screen, the Tab Pro does have a somewhat brighter screen but the Note 2014`s screen is still superb

Both use the 1.9GHz Exynos Processor, so no advantage in that dept.

The Note 2014 comes with the 3gb of ram as opposed to 2gb in the Tab Pro

Both have decent speakers

Both have the same build Quality

The Note comes with the sPen obviously, the Tab Pro Does not

Anything bought from Samsung Hub cannot be accessed on the Tab Pro Tablet, no movies nor music. On the Note 2014 the Hub is fully available.

Price... $499 for a 16gb Galaxy Tab Pro.... $529 for a Note 2014 32gb

KitKat runs great on the new Tab Pro`s but i presume the Note 2014 will do also when that update is released

So for $30 i get the Spen, more compatibility, and 32gb of on board storage, for $30 this is a no brainer, so needless to say my tab pro is going up for sale, and back to the Note for me

I agree on all points, but a few corrections:
1) The Tab Pro has 2GB, not 3.
2) The Tab Pro runs KitKat, not Jelly Bean.

:)

I'm still happy with my Note 10.1 2014... in my mind it was the first 'Pro' Note to be released, they just didn't have the name yet.

A point for the Pro Line, though, is the 4-window multitasking without the need to root. I'm not sure we'll see that update for the Note 10.1 even if it does get KitKat in the future.

Oh, and NFC. The Pros have NFC.
