GALAXY NOTE 10.1. Light at back of tablet stay ON. How do you get it OFF?

The small light at the back of out GALAXY Note 10.1 stays On and we do not know how to get it OFF, please help

Welcome to Android Central! Did you turn on the Flashlight/Torch function? Swipe down the Quick Settings and see if there's a Flashlight button that's highlighted.

Welcome to Android Central! Well, I answered it, at least (5.5 years ago). Assuming you're having the same problem, the same question applies to you -- is the Flashlight toggle on in the Quick Settings?

Also just realized it was in the wrong forum (Tab Pro 10.1). I moved it to the Note 10.1 forum.

It’s actually for my Samsung tablet , it doesn’t have a torch in any settings options but is on permanently. I downloaded the flashlight app and when I switch on the torch through that , the light just gets brighter and dims when I switch it off. Have you got any advice please?

Which Samsung tablet? Does this also happen in Safe Mode?
