Brand new tablet, just got it for Christmas. Tech support suggested factory reset but it didn't make any difference. Screen keeps going blank, can't get to home page, can't go back. I can't even power the unit off! Sometimes things works, sometimes not. I never know what's going to happen. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! When you say it freezes, do you mean that the screen goes blank? Or does the screen sometimes stay on, but it's unresponsive?
If the screen is only going blank, then something might be triggering the smartcover sensor. Make sure there aren't any magnetic sources near the device (the smartcover sensor in the device senses small magnets embedded in smartcovers, which cause the screen to turn off when the cover is closed). If you have a cover, see if this happens when you fold the cover behind the device--sometimes, the embedded magnets are too strong and trigger the sensors from behind the device.
