Bouncing Icon

Just got my Tab S and while setting it up last night an icon suddenly began slowly bouncing...I started touching various keys and it finally stopped, but I'm unsure as to which key stopped it. Crazy! Thanks...

Can you describe the icon, or better yet, post a screenshot? Was it an icon on the homescreen or in the notification bar (at the top of the screen)?

It happened twice and the only one I remember is the email icon on the home screen...

I don't have a Samsung device, but maybe it's a TouchWiz feature to let you know that you have an unread email?

No, it wasn't indicating any received emails, and it hasn't happened again in the past several days - just normal email notification. Not a huge issue...just puzzling to me. Figured it has to mean something or it wouldn't happen. Thanks for the input.....
